When I get a beautiful blue out of the kiln mixed with this green glaze I get so excited! It doesn’t happen very often, as that blue glaze is finicky.

These butter bells are amazing for keeping soft butter on the counter year round. Simply pack the inside bell with soft butter, add water to the jar, and flip the inside bell full of butter upside down and place inside the jar. The water creates an airtight seal to keep your butter fresh. Just change the water out about once a week and toss it in the dishwasher when its ready for a refill!

Each piece of pottery is crafted from stoneware clay and thrown on the potter’s wheel. After they dry a bit, I trim a foot on each piece and allow them to dry slowly. After that, they are bisque fired in an electric kiln. I then glaze each piece in a 3-step glazing process. Finally, the pots go back into the electric kiln and are glaze fired to cone 6. After a thorough sanding to ensure soft bottoms, they are ready for my happy customers!
